He went with the higher rated fan as a precautionary measure given the distance he was driving and the track events he planned to run at the last minute. The electric water pump was a pre-production part that had a very slight leak at startup only... it seemed to sealed with normal heat expansion ...this obviously is a temporary fix / problem that will lead up to a long term problem ..he didn't want to destroy the engine testing the durability of the electric water pump so he threw the higher rated fan on the car for added security. The higher rated fan maintained the engine temperature in normal operating range. I never said that the pump was not "circulating" enough. I struggle to see how you read those words in my post above **** shakes head ****
